10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of the triplet:

Deadlift: 1 1/2 body weight
Bench press: body weight
Clean: 3/4 body weight

Set up three bars and storm through for time.

Holiday on Monday!  Eugene Crossfit is only holding two classes:  9am and 4:15pm.  If you were already signed in for a class on Monday that we canceled due to the holiday,  I have automatically signed you up for the class closest in time to the one you previously signed up for.  If you have any questions please let me know.  Have a great 3-day weekend and I hope we see you on Monday!

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
95 pound Thruster, 5 reps
95 pound Hang Powercleans, 7 reps
95 pound Sumo Deadlift High-pull, 10 reps

Jen’s Question, “are there going to be no more wacky Saturday wods while we do main site stuff?”

Answer:  We’re still going wacky!  Nothing will change with Saturday workouts except that Crossfit.com will dictate the movements we pull from.  The team workouts and games will include the  movements from mainsite.  Still will be free for non-members and will be lots of fun!

Last day of August – that means that starting on Wednesday we will be using Crossfit.com for our programming the month of September.

Crossfit.com programs 3 days on, 1 day of rest.  On the days that crossfit rests, I will program something for the folks that make it that day.  (We will have class that day, but on the website it will say “Crossfit.com rest”)

Here’s the Question:  Are you going to keep your regular schedule of Crossfitting, or are you going to make an adjustment to make it to more of the Crossfit.com workouts?

Advice from kelsi:  As you bring a heavy kettlebell down, lean back on your heels to counterbalance it to help keep you from leaning over.
