Crossfit Kids and Crossfit Teens classes are opening up next week. Space is limited, so make sure you let me know if you’d like your child to join.
Ages: For now, we will just be doing Crossfit Kids (5-12) and Crossfit Teen (12-16ish) classes. The ages aren’t set in stone, we could have a 4 year old in the kids class if he is mature enough to listen to instructions and we could have a 10 year old in a teen class if she is ready for it.
Class Times: The times of the classes will probably be between noon and 4, and I will add more times and days based on demand. Once school starts we’ll have to do some adjusting of schedules to make things work for the kids. Also adding times on Saturday is an option. I’m committed to making this work and having lots of kids getting involved. I really need your constant feedback on which times would be doable for your child.
Prices: First off, as many of you know, I like to reward folks who are the first to join on. These prices are low for now but may change for later folks that join on. Also, even though our program will give your children ten times the workout as any other program in town and be ten times more fun, we decided to pick prices that would beat most kids programs in town, and we wanted to completely waive the $20 registration fee that most kids programs do. We also wanted to reward families that have multiple members of the family involved in Crossfit, and reward families that are planning on having their child come at least once a week for a year.
Crossfit Kids / Crossfit Teens Prices
1x per week (4x a month) $32/month
2x per week (8x a month) $56/month
3x per week (12x a month) $82/month
Unlimited Kids Classes $99/month
Unlimited Kids and adult classes (for older teens, must be approved by Jeremy) $112/month
10% discount for a 1 year commitment (can move between plans as needed)*
10% discount for each additional child
10% discount if parent is a member of Eugene Crossfit (20% if both parents)
* – must be autopay
For example, lets say Molly is a member of Eugene Crossfit and wants to sign her 4 kids up for a years worth of Crossfit Kids at 1x a month. The first child would be 20% off ($25.60), the second 30% off ($22.40), the third 40%($19.20), and the fourth 50% ($16). The entire month for all four kids at 1x a month would only cost Molly $83.20. If Molly wants to adjust the child in the middle of the year to a 3x a week plan, that child would be the one to get 20% off that month, while the children that pay for 1x a month would get the 30%, 40% and 50%. Confusing…. Just call me at 541-653-6299 and I’ll explain it.
Concerns about the craziness of the fall season. Once school starts and things get crazy, if we can find times to do Crossfit Kids regularly thoughout the week that’d be great. If not, perhaps we can still figure out a time to have you child come at least once a week. If life is too crazy for that, don’t panic. We can do Crossfit Kids on and off when it works for your child’s schedule. You child has lots and lots of years to develop and even if we can do Crossfit Kids in spurts throughout the year it will be hugely beneficial.
Sports and Crossfit Kids at the Same time? We can do that. I will keep in mind each child and what they have going so they are fresh and ready for their game and so we don’t overwork them for their sport.
Crossfit Pre-School. Coming soon. Working on this. Prices will probably be lower.
Please email me at ecrossfit@gmail.com and let me know ASAP if you’d like your child to join. Please include the following:

Ok – I was gunna wait until after I got back from the games to start Crossfit Kids – But i’m just so excited I can’t wait.
Crossfit Kids will work to improve your child in every capacity. Not only will it help your child to be better at the sport or activity your child decides, but it will help develop the brain; Crossfit Kids that are established in other areas report an average increase of 1.0 in GPA.
More important that all that adult stuff – Crossfit Kids’ #1 is fun!
For now, there will be two types of classes:
Crossfit Kids – 5 years old to 12 years old. Class is 30 minutes long.
Crossfit Preschool – 3-5 years old. Class is 15 minutes long.
There is also a Crossfit Teens program but I’m gunna work on that later (ages 12-15).
I’m going to do a test run on it this week (get my jitters out) and that way I’ll have the weekend to brainstorm and then set a solid program down.
For now, lets just try 3 classes this week (2 CF kids, 1 preschool) and lets just charge you like um….. 3 bucks per class. (because it’s practice) The set prices will come once I get a program set down. (I’m thinking between $50-75 per month for 2x a week and $80-125 for 4x a week for CF Kids, and CF Preschool significantly less because their time is 15 minutes long).
Times this week:
Crossfit Kids 3-3:30 on Tuesday (full)
Crossfit Kids 2:30 to 3:00 on Wednesday (full)
Crossfit Preschool 3:00 on Wednesday (full)
I have limited spaces for these practice runs so email me if these work for you. If your interested in the program but can’t make these times, let me know too.
